Save Venice is delighted to announce Tina Walls as the new President of the Board of Directors. Tina succeeds Richard Almeida, whose four-year tenure greatly benefitted Save Venice. Richard remains on the board, which continues to be led by Chairman Frederick Ilchman.
Tina joined the Save Venice Board of Directors in 2010 and has provided invaluable guidance as Chair of the Development Committee, growing the organization’s regional presence, membership program, and portfolio of major donors. She also serves on the Executive and Strategic Planning Committees.
Tina’s corporate career spanned more than 30 years for Altria Group Incorporated, IBM, and Chemical Bank. She also served the Colorado General Assembly at the Colorado Legislative Council as a non-partisan research and committee staff member. Passionate about the visual and performing arts, Tina also serves on the board of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts as Education and Community Engagement Chair. She is a member of the Denver Art Museum’s Collection Committee, and the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Advisory Committee. Tina generously supports organizations and programming that help expand cultural access for the under-appreciated and under-recognized.
