With the help of a devoted new group of student interns, it has been an exciting and productive summer at the Rosand Library & Study Center at Save Venice. Haley Westervelt, a senior art history major from Wake Forest University, and Lola Wegman and Xiaoxiao Ma, senior studio art and art history majors from Lafayette College, spent the months of June and July at Save Venice supporting the daily operations of the Venice office and Rosand Library. Thanks to their diligent efforts, the recently donated collection of books from The Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation was quickly organized, labeled, and added to the RLSC online catalogue. Graduate student Emilien Rouvier from the University of Lyon III completed a three-month internship and research project that focused on Save Venice as a case study for philanthropic efforts of an international non-governmental organization (INGO). Save Venice extends its sincere gratitude to all of the student interns for their hard work and enthusiastic support of our mission.
