The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Boston chapter of Save Venice is open to all free of charge. The meeting will summarize our activities and restorations in the previous year, and present a slate of officers for 2022-23 to be voted upon by those present.
An optional ticketed reception will precede the business meeting and lecture from 6:15 to 7:00 pm. The ticket is $50 and checks may be sent to:

Boston, MA 02117.
A short lecture, “Venice in the Age of Carpaccio” by Prof. Matteo Casini will begin at 7:30 pm and conclude the meeting. A longtime resident of Venice who teaches for the University of Massachusetts Boston, Dr. Casini has published books and articles on Venetian history, culture, and politics. His talk will examine the Serenissima at the height of its glory in the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. His historical research complements the recent conservation work on Carpaccio’s paintings by Save Venice and can serve as an introduction to the major exhibitions dedicated to Carpaccio in Washington DC and in Venice in 2022/2023.
RSVP by Friday, September 23, to Susan Angelastro at SVBoston@savevenice.org.
