The culminating event in Save Venice’s 2021–2022 series of global celebrations honoring the 50th Anniversary, Il Gran Gala a Venezia will take place Friday evening, October 7 through Monday, October 10, 2022, with an optional Biennale program on Tuesday, October 11.

Highlights of the weekend program include restoration tours by leading experts in the fields of art, history, and conservation; the historic inauguration of Titian’s newly-restored Assunta in the Frari; surprise musical performances, and themed evening galas in the city’s most splendid palaces. The 50th Anniversary milestone projects at the basilica of Santa Maria Assunta on Torcello and the Italian Synagogue will also be visited.
